Stained Glass entered the realm of my reality in the earliest stages of my life through my spiritual and religious upbringing in the setting of the church. My religious upbringing offered many complex nuances for me, including the journey to self-acceptance around my sexual orientation, where shame and hopelessness were instilled in me.

Those stained-glass windows offered me glimmers of hope and invited me to see the awe-inspiring beauty of the Truth that was being reflected through them to me.

I was invited on this journey of creating stained glass back in 2018 by a friend and mentor who showed me the basics of fabricating and assembling stained glass in her basement in Northern Michigan’s wilderness.

In 2022 I started sharing my joy for creating stained glass with others through leading workshops. I have traveled throughout Michigan, Wisconsin, Washington, and Oregon to extend my offering for others to experience the joy that has transformed my life.

I am rewriting the narrative of my past and lacing it with hope by empowering others to create with stained glass. Thank you for being a part of this journey with me. It has been a healing and life affirming journey, and the greatest joy of my life.
